A visitation for family and friends of Billy Jack “B.J.” Scogins, 64, of Cleburne, Texas will be held from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home.
No other services are planned at this time.
Mr. Scogins passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at his home.
He was born February 7, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Wanda (Scatterfield) and Billy Ray Scogins.
Mr. Scogins served his country in the United States Army. He and Terri Kenes were married March 20, 1982.
Mr. Scogins was employed with Champion Mobile Homes.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Dorris Jean Brown.
Mr. Scogins is survived by his wife, Terri Scogins of Cleburne; sons, Joe Scogins and wife, Scarlett, of Cleburne and Brandon Scogins and wife, Stefanie, of Burleson, Texas; mother, Wanda McCall of White Settlement, Texas; brothers, Johnny Edward Holingsworth of White Settlement, Billy Earl Scogins of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jerry Ray Scogins of Hooks, Texas and David DeVerl Barber of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Jolee Scogins and Brady Scogins.
