Ken Scott
A memorial service celebrating the life of former Cleburne resident, Ken Scott, 57, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Robert Herzig and the Rev. George Sutton will officiate.
Ken Scott passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 in Austin, Texas. Kenneth Brian Scott was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 24, 1954, the son of Ruth (Nelms) and Jack Scott.
Enlisting in 1974, Ken served his country in the United States Army. He married Judy Zimmerman on May 10, 1994.
Overcoming many obstacles from a 1978 spinal cord injury, Ken lived his life to the fullest with the help of many family, friends and wonderful care-givers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Scott; sister, Marilyn Scott Wittenburg; brother, Steven Scott; and nephew, Brandt Castles.
Ken Scott is survived by his wife, Judy Zimmerman Scott of Austin; mother, Ruth Scott of Cleburne; step-daughter, Carye West of Austin; sister, Camilla Castles and husband, Vance, of Cleburne; brother, Jack Scott, Jr. of Houston; nieces, Lindsey Castles of Fort Worth and Heather Wittenburg Clark of Coppell.
