A graveside service for Charles Edwin Scruggs, 76, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in Rosehill Cemetery. Mr. Clyde Slimp will officiate. No visitation is scheduled.
Charles Edwin Scruggs passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Cleburne. He was born April 3, 1944 in Weatherford, Texas to Lucille (Thompson) and Charles Milton Scruggs. He married his sweetheart, Jacquelyn Orth on October 21, 1967 in Pasadena, Texas.
Mr. Scruggs was a retired project manager for Brown and Root with 35 years of service. He was a member of Westhill Church of Christ.
Mr. Scruggs was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Scruggs.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Jacquelyn Scruggs of Cleburne; son,
Charles Scruggs of Dallas; daughters, Debbie Cobb and husband Chris and Rhonda Audas and husband, Steve, all of Arlington; grandchildren, Steven Wheeler, Shelby Sturgill, Korbin Davis, Payton Davis, and Bailey Davis; brother, David Scruggs; and a host of other family members and friends.
