Graveside services for Margaret Balun Shiftar will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 12, 2021 in Rosehill Cemetery. The Monsignor Juan Rivera will officiate.
Margaret Balun Shiftar, 99, of Cleburne, Texas passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born February 16, 1922 in Czechoslovakia to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Balun.
Margaret married her sweetheart, Donald Shiftar on November 16, 1946 in New Buffalo, MI.
Mrs. Shiftar was a homemaker and along with her husband Donald, were owners and operators of Shiftar’s Drive-In in Cleburne from 1953 – 1966. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 72 years, Lt. Colonel Donald Shiftar, USAF, Ret. on July 14, 2019; and one grandson.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Ingle; grandson, Jason Ingle; and a host of other relatives and friends.
