Funeral services for Billy Bob Slater, 45, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nick Hamilton officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home
Billy Blob Slater passed away the evening of Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was born in Fort Worth on January 27, 1976, the son of Cynthia Marie (Simon) and Bill Slater.
Billy Bob married Michelle Lynn Kennedy on May 23, 2009.
He was the Public Works Superintendent for the City of Alvarado, Texas and was of the Methodist faith.
Billy Bob is survived by his wife, Michelle Slater; sons, Elijah Slater and Phoenix Slater; and daughters, Romie Slater, Juniper Slater, Cora Slater, and Violet Slater, all of Grandview; mother, Cynthia Marie Moyers and husband, Darrell, of Rainbow, Texas; father, Bill Slater and wife, Anita, of Alvarado; grandparents, Bob and Carolyn Simon; brothers, Chris Slater and wife, Virginia, Charles Tolliver, and Colten Johnson; sisters, Cara Johnson, Carly Johnson, Christi Easter, and Hannah Hendrix; and a host of other family members and friends.
