A memorial service for Ronnie Spencer, 70, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Sand Flat Baptist Church. The Reverend Gary Moseley will officiate.
Ronnie Spencer passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Fort Worth. He was born January 3, 1950 in Freeport, Texas to Pauline (Riddle) and Edward Vestal Spencer. He married Cathy Shelby on January 1, 1977 in Mesquite, Texas.
Mr. Spencer served in the United States Army, where he received a Purple Heart. He was a retired USPS supervisor and a member of the Sand Flat Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Charlene Dickerson and Evelyn Duncan.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Cathy Spencer of Cleburne; sons, Cody Spencer of White Settlement, Ronnie Spencer of Arlington and Bobby Spencer of Cleburne; grandchildren; Aubrea, Aiden, Ella, and Eden Spencer;
brothers, Rusty Spencer and wife, Sharon and Billie Spencer and wife, Marlene, all of Lake Jackson; sister, Joyce Estes and husband, Jessie of Texarkana; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Donations in memory of Ronnie may be made to the Life Center at Sand Flat Baptist Church
