Susan Bridges Dollar

Funeral services for Susan Marie Dollar, 66, of Rio Vista, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jacky Mears officiating. Burial will follow in Baker-Lain Cemetery.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, January 2, 2023 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Susan Marie Bridges Dollar passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Rio Vista. She was born May 17, 1956 in Cleburne to Claudia (Stevens) and Hollis Stonewall Bridges. She married her sweetheart, Cecil Dollar on July 7, 1972 in Rio Vista.

Susan worked for Rio Vista ISD for 23 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Rio Vista. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis Bridges and Claudia Bridges and one brother, Billy Bob Bridges.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 50 years, Cecil Dollar of Rio Vista; sons, Dustin Dollar and wife, Holly of Denton and Clint Dollar and wife, Lyndsay of Cleburne; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Austin, Logan and Johnnie Dollar; brother, Tommy Bridges of Cleburne; sister, Kathy Burk and husband, Clifford of Whitewright; and many of other relatives and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Lloyd, Seth Wright, Cayson Bridges, Matthew Bridges, Dylan Bridges and Billy Bob Bridges serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Dollar, Johnnie Dollar, Stetson Bridges, Cliff Burk, Arie Terrazas, Braxton Terrazas, Brody Turner and Kaden Wright.
