Graveside services for Paul Lester Talley, 77, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at George’s Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Rigoulot officiating.
Paul Talley passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born in Dallas, Texas on August 31, 1943 to Myrtle Katherine Helms and Paul L. Talley. Myrtle later married Louis Zimmerman and moved to Cleburne.
Paul served his country in the United States Army and was the manager of Zimmerman’s Automotive for many years.
Paul married Priscilla Eddy on August 2, 1980 in Cleburne and were members of United Presbyterian Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul L. Talley Sr., mother, Myrtle Zimmerman; step-father, Louis Zimmerman; and two step-sisters, Linda Zimmerman Cheatley and Susan Zimmerman Friou.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Priscilla Talley of Cleburne; son, Chad Carroll and wife, Jennifer, of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Alexa, Colton, and Callie Carroll; brother, C. Richard Talley and wife, Bona, of Bethesda, Maryland; nephews, Jack Talley and spouse, Erin McCullough, and Michael Talley; and several other relatives and friends.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Santa Fe Trails Memory Care Facility in Cleburne – especially Bernie, Kim, and Cindi. Additionally, the family sends a special thank you to the Elera Hospice nurse, Shella, for her compassion and care for Paul.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to United Presbyterian Church, 1510 Westhill Drive, Cleburne, TX 76033.
