A memorial service celebrating the life of Mary Evelyn Terry, 81, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2021 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Charles Payne will officiate.
Mary Terry passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born in Springtown, Texas on March 23, 1939 to Clara (Legg) and Carl Edward Meador.
Mary married Buck Terry on October 11, 1953. She was the bookkeeper for their business, Terry’s Cleaners. Mary and Buck also owned and operated Wolf Creek Motocross Track at their former home in Rio Vista, Texas before opening Terry’s Tires in Cleburne.
She was a loving wife and mother. Mary absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to shop on Saturdays with her girls and going to the beauty shop.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Wilma Louise Quist; and brother, Edward Ray Meador.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Buck Terry; daughter, Cathy Gann and husband, Mike; son, Mark Terry and wife, Pam; grandchildren, Cori Dunn, Cody Gann, Chad Gann, and Taylor Blanchard; great grandchildren, Cade Gann, Carleigh Gann, Lynlee Dunn, and Lynkoln Dunn; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
