Velma Tinder
Velma Tinder passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 in Cleburne. Remembrance services were held at 3 p.m. at the Rio Vista Civic Center, Wednesday, February 20, 2013. A private family burial was held at Rio Vista Cemetery.
Velma Tinder was born in Tom Green County, Texas on March 9, 1926 to Earl and Myrtle Williams. She was raised, by her mother, with four sisters and one brother, losing her brother at age five. She is survived by one sister, Earlene Hayter of Monahans, Texas.
Velma had five children: Ron, Bill, Jerald, Clifton and Myrtle Lorene. She was preceded in death by Jerald.
Velma is survived by her sons, Ron, Bill, and Clifton; and daughter, Myrtle Lorene.
