Funeral services for Philip Gilbert Trammell, 83, of Springtown, Texas will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cleburne, Texas. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Crowley Cemetery in Crowley, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Ellis, Adam Ellis, Brent Andres, Philip W. Trammel, Brendon Trammell, John Trammell, and Michael Caldwell.
A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.
Mr. Trammell passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Azle, Texas. He was born in Laredo, Texas on January 2, 1938, the son of Flora (Vargas) and Philip L. Trammell.
Mr. Trammell served his country in the United States Army and was a retired metallurgist with American Steel and was also an x-ray technician in the medical field.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Roy Trammell.
Mr. Trammell is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Ann Trammell of Springtown; his children, Philip Trammell and wife, Dawn, of Cleburne, Deborah Johnson and husband, Tony, of Arlington, Texas, Michelle Reed and husband, Richard, of Springtown, Jenniffer Caldwell and husband, Chris, of Crowley; grandchildren, Chad, Adam, Brent, Christopher, Morgan, Michael Philip, Brendon, John, Lydia, Andrea, and Tiffany; several great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and friends.
