Funeral services for Clyde Edward Truex, 82, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 in the Rosser Funeral Home Family with the Honorable Jeff Monk officiating. Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery in Arlington, Texas.
Mr. Truex passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Cleburne. He was born in Beallsville, Ohio on February 6, 1931, the son of Alta (Reed) and Glenn Truex.
Clyde served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a retired Arlington firefighter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Mary Truex; and brother, Paul Truex.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Truex of Cleburne; sons, Ron Truex and wife, Becky, of Arlington and Robert Truex and wife, Idalina, of Alvarado, Texas; grandchildren, Alex Truex, Shaun Truex, Ashley Truex, John Truex, and Matthew Truex; sisters, Ruth Van Dyne and husband, Bill, and Betty Sue Truex, all of Loudonville, Ohio and sister-in-law, Maxine Truex of Marietta, Ohio.
