Susan Marie Valdez (Edmunds)

Susie Valdez, 64, of Grandview, Texas, went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2021. She was a very loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, Mamo, and friend. As per Susie’s directions, no services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Susie was a long-time resident of the Cleburne area. She was well known and liked at the American Legion Post 50, as well as a long term member of the American Legion Aux.
Susie went above and beyond to assist Veterans any way that she could. She always made time for her family and friends, no matter the time of day or what plans she may have had.
Susie was an avid dog lover. Sassy, Porsha, and Kriz were her three babies. She absolutely loved her “shows”, Hallmark Christmas, Lifetime movies, and Grey’s Anatomy to name a few.
Susie is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Gladys Edmunds.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Valdez of Cleburne; daughters, Roberta Hill and husband, Jeff, and Latricia Sanders; sisters, Jackie Neally and husband, Eddy, and Ruthie Crose; brother, Robert Edmunds and wife, Carrie; life-long friend, Jerri Beck; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
