Funeral services for Valentin Rios, 90, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 18, 2026 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Valentin Rios passed away on February 14, 2026 at his home in Grandview, surrounded by his family. He was born May 21, 1935 in Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico to Dolores and Nieves Rodriguez Rios. He married Elva Rocha on March 5, 1955 in Mexico.

Mr. Rios was a retired machinist for LTV and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Valentin was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 70+ years, Elva Rios; son, Valentin Rios, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Alvarado; daughters, Gloria Bernal and husband Alonso of Burleson; Elva Little and husband John of Kennedale, Linda Caballero and husband Danny of San Antonio, Silvia Rios of Alvarado, Elma Maldonado and husband David and Dolores Waldrum and husband Michael, all of Tennessee, and Susana Kinson of Grandview; 21 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; brothers, Juan Rios of Del Rio, Guadalupe Rios and Martha Alicia of Acuna, Mexico, and Armando Rios and wife Maria of Forest Hills; sister, Maria Felix Mojica of Ohio; numerous other family members and many friends.
