Robert Carl “Bob” Vanslyke, 74, of Joshua, Texas passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Joshua. He was born April 19, 1946 in Spokane, Washington to Ida (Nyman) and Lee Vanslyke. Bob married Sally Olsen on June 16, 1990 in Lake Elsinore, California.
Bob served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He worked at an auto parts store and loved spending time with his family and friends. Bob was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-son, Dean Oatley.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Sally Vanslyke of Joshua, Texas; daughter, Kambria Vanslyke of Sun City, California; sons, Jason Vanslyke and wife, Sara of Sun City, California, Daniel Vanslyke and wife, Sabrina of Lake Elsenore, California, Daren Vanslyke and wife, Tiffany and Scott Oatley and wife, Marissa, all of Cleburne, Texas; 17 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother; two sisters; and many other relatives and friends.
