Funeral services for Carmen Vargas, 76, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Keene Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Jose Bagan officiating. Burial will follow in Keene Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Vargas passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at her home. She was born in Puerto Rico on November 1, 1943, the daughter of Arora (Caraballo) and Isaac Encarnacion.
Mrs. Vargas was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Vargas of Keene; grandchildren, Lina L. Reyes and Amil Reyes; brothers, Javier Reyes, Jerry Reyes, Orlando Reyes, and Ricardo Reyes; nieces and nephews, Lourdes, Osvaldo, Juan, Eliezer, Delvin, Melvin, and Domiris Encarnacion.
