Graveside services for Vera Mae Marbut, 86, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Grandview Cemetery.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2024 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Vera passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Cleburne. She was born in Grandview on December 12, 1937, the daughter of Lila (Nelson) and Wesley Gatlin.

Vera was a member of the Sand Flat Baptist Church. Her favorite movie was Gone With The Wind and she collected GWTW memorabilia. Vera also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Phillip Marbut; and brothers, Johnny and William Gatlin.

Vera is survived by her sons, Jason Marbut of Cleburne and Steve Marbut of Fort Worth; and brother, Rick Gatlin and wife, Connie, of Grandview.
