A memorial service for Jack “Lanny” Vereen, 71, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Hal Dennis officiating.
Lanny Vereen passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his home. He was born in Cleburne on January 3, 1949, the son of Frances (Shipp) and Maurice Vereen. He was the owner and operator of Vereen Motor Company since 1967 and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cleburne.
Lanny was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Carol Vereen Beyer.
He is survived by his daughter, Lanna Edmonds and husband, Donny, of Cleburne; sons, Lanier Vereen of Cleburne and Ron Vereen of Granbury, Texas; brother, Larry M. Vereen and wife, Sandra, of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Jeorjia Ewing, Kasi, Harlond, Lynda-Kay and Kash Edmonds, Faith Kolreg and Christian and Hannah Vereen; great grandchildren, Gracelynn Chairez and Jude Grantham; and a host of other relatives and friends.
