Virginia Sue Prine

Funeral services for Virginia Sue Prine, 76, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2022, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewaun Ashley officiating.  Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado, Texas.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Reed Prine, Logan Duke, Brian Bowman, Jacob Mathis, Mark Goetz, and Larry Sparks.

Virginia Prine passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in Cleburne.  She was born in Orange County, California on April 4, 1946, the daughter of Virgie “Granny” (Harper) and Billie Reed.

Virginia married Travis Lynn Prine on July 1, 1966 in Cleburne.  She was an account executive with the Cleburne Times Review until her retirement in 2009.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Travis.

She is survived by her sons, Quincy Prine and wife, Heidi, of Cleburne and Pat Prine and Laura Turner of Granbury, Texas; grandchildren, Reed (Chelsea) Prine, Morgan (Logan) Duke, Brianna (Brian) Bowman, Bethany Mathis, Maryssa Mathis,  and Jacob (Meagan) Mathis; great grandchildren, Margot, Charles, Saydee, Bryson, Barrett, Lilly, Jason, Oliver, Elias, Zeke, and Eathan; sisters, Jean Slaggle of Seymour, Texas and Mary Jenkins of Cleburne; and many other family members and friends.
