Funeral services for Wayne B. Boedeker, 88, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery with Brandon Way, Tim Boedeker, Chris Boedeker, Hunter Connell, Greyson Boedeker, and Justin Braswell serving as pallbearers.

A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Wayne Boedeker passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in Cleburne. He was born in Chriesman, Texas on March 17, 1935, the son of Beatrice (Kornegay) and Charles Ransey Boedeker. 

A 1953 graduate of Caldwell High School, Wayne married his high school sweetheart, Maxine Kocurek, on January 28, 1956 in Deanville, Texas. He graduated from Sam Houston State Teachers College in 1957.
Wayne was an insurance agent with American National Insurance for 43 years and was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leonard Ray, Harold Lloyd, and Jimmy Boedeker; and sister, Lee Evelyn Doonan.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Maxine Boedeker of Cleburne; sons, Danny Boedeker and wife, Mary, of Cleburne and Darrell and wife, Alexa; daughter, Denise Connell and husband, Allan, of Rio Vista, Texas; sister, Edna Brymer of Caldwell, Texas; sisters-in-law, Brenda Boedeker of Caldwell and Patsy Boedeker of Bryan, Texas; grandchildren, Brandon Way and wife, Jennifer, Brittany Way and fiance, Justin Braswell, Hunter Connell and wife, Danielle, Tim Boedeker and wife, Lillie, Chris Boedeker and wife, Andrea, Claire Boedeker, and Greyson Boedeker; great grandchildren, Dylan, Eden, Harper, Henton, Oliver, Henry, Jack, and Luke; and many other family members and friends.
