A memorial service for William Joseph "Willie" Lewis, of Iredell, Texas, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Cleburne Conference Center in Cleburne, Texas.

A private family burial will be held at Bethany Cemetery in Alvarado, Texas.

Willie Lewis passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, in Iredell. He was 41 years old. Willie was born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 30, 1983, the son of Susan (Abshire) and Ricky Eugene Lewis.

He married Siara Souser on May 17, 2014, in Burleson, Texas. Willie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Iredell and was a diesel mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Lynn Lewis; and grandparents, Rose (Grant) and Albert Abshire, Sr. and Ivy Loree and Willie E. Lewis.

Willie is survived by his wife, Siara Lewis; daughter, Taitum Lewis; stepson, Brennon Smith; and parents, Ricky and Susan Lewis, all of Iredell; brothers, Ricky Lewis, Jr. and wife, Melanie, of Cleburne, Reggie Lewis of Glen Rose, Texas, and Walter Lewis and wife, Randi, of Jacksboro, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family members from the Lewis Family, Abshire Family, Grant Family, and Wallis Family; and many friends.
