Graveside service for Deanna “Dood” Williams, 81, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Watts Chapel Cemetery. Laurie Williams will officiate. Vistation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Deanna “Dood” Williams passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 in Grandview. She was born January 26, 1938 in Ellis County, Texas to Vera Frances (Mills) and Thelma Lathan Davis.
Deanna was a homemaker, small business owner, and a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and a dear friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth Wesley Williams.
Survivors include her daughters, Leslie Williams of Cleburne and Laurie Williams of Fair Oaks, California; brother, Jean Davis and wife Rosie; grandchildren, Wesley Shea and his wife Lourdes, Luke Shea, and Alayne Voss; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
