Funeral service for Wilma Jean Hale, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend John Glover will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August, 16, 2022.

There will be a separate funeral service and burial next week in Bristol, Tennessee under the direction of Oakley-Cook Funeral Home.

Wilma Jean Hale was born on August 9, 1930 in Cleveland, Virginia to Georgia (Fuller) and Lloyd Smith and was called home to heaven on August 13, 2022 at the age of 92.

Wilma was a native of Russell County, Virginia, moving to Bristol, Tennessee in 1952, Abingdon,  Virginia in 1994, and finally to Texas in 2003. She was a member of the Baptist faith and Field Street Baptist Church in Cleburne.

Survivors include two sons, Doug Hale and Paul Hale; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
