Funeral services for Wilma Jean Peden, 92, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2026, at Field Street Baptist Church.

Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2026, in Colonial Garden Cemetery in Marshall, Texas.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Jeannie Peden passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in Cleburne. She was born March 10, 1934, in Seminole, Oklahoma to William and Opal Kensing.

Jeannie was a retired elementary school teacher and a member of Field Street Baptist Church. She loved reading her devotionals, playing the piano and singing, being involved in many different church activities. Teaching Sunday School for special need adults brought her great joy.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Homer Peden, Jr.; and one brother, Gary Lancaster.

Survivors include her son, Ken Peden and wife Deanna of Odessa, Texas; daughters, Jana Arneel and husband, Robert, of Mansfield, Texas and Karen Peden and Emily Henry of Cypress, Texas; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and many other extended family and dear friends.
