Obituary for Charlie Kathryn Wohlgemuth (Jameson)
Burleson, TX - Charlie Kathryn Wohlgemuth passed away peacefully on September 11, 2015. She was born September 7, 1929 in Borger, Texas to Eddie and Mary Lou Jameson.
Mrs. Wohlgemuth was raised in Seminole, Texas, and earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in education.
She married James Wohlgemuth, and together they raised three sons in Dimmitt, Texas, where she spent her career as an elementary school teacher.
Mrs. Wohlgemuth cherished the simple joys of life and was a beloved wife, mother, and friend to many. She enjoyed many hobbies, including gardening, playing bridge, traveling throughout the Southwest, reading, needle-pointing, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Mrs. Wohlgemuth is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Robert Jameson. She is survived by her three sons, Mikeal, Mark, and Max, their wives, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In her lifetime she planted many seeds, and the beauty that she nurtured in the world will ever grow.
